Dr. Ashish Rai serves as the Director of the Department of Plastic, Aesthetic & Reconstructive Surgery at Jaypee Hospital, Noida. He holds an MBBS and an MS in General Surgery from IMS, Banaras Hindu University, and dual DNB qualifications in General and Plastic Surgery from MAMC & Lok Nayak Hospital, New Delhi. Dr. Rai has pursued further specialization through fellowships at the American College of Surgeons (USA), in Orthognathic Surgery in Recklinghausen, Germany, and Identity Preserving Facelift Surgery in Munich, Germany. With 25 years of clinical experience, Dr. Rai has held roles at LNJP Hospital and GTB Hospital in New Delhi, and as an Associate Professor at PGIMER and Dr. RML Hospital, New Delhi. His clinical expertise covers aesthetic (cosmetic) surgery, vascular microsurgery, maxillofacial surgery, hand surgery, oncoplastic surgery, brachial plexus surgery, and reconstructive surgery for trauma and burns. Dr. Rai is a member of several professional organizations, including the Association of Surgeons of India and the Indian Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons. He has authored over 20 publications in national and international journals and serves as a reviewer for several journals. A faculty member at both national and international conferences, His areas of interest include rhinoplasty, breast augmentation, cleft lip and palate repair, and burn reconstruction, reflecting his commitment to advancing the field of plastic surgery.
